Ring Tone on Mobile Phone

Last week a friend asked me to help him to change the default ring tone and notification on his mobile phone as he finds it confusing whenever a notification alert sounds off, everyone in his office takes out the phone to check on it.

So I tried to set a different ring tone on my iPhone, but all ring tones are so familiar. I then tried to search and download ring tones. In the end, I found that it would be easier to have my own ring tone using utility to create from MP3 file.

Downloaded Ringtone Designer, using it to extract a 30 second clip of MP3 file on my iPhone. Sync with iTunes. On the App tab of iPhone within iTunes, click on Ringtones and drag the .m4r file to the desktop. Then double click the file to add the .m4r file to the iPhone library. After the sync, the new ring tone is available in Settings, Sounds, Ringtone.

Edit: Found Ringtone Builder by GreatApps4u free which allows you to have 40 second clip of MP3.
