Protective Cover / Case

While we were talking about re-contracting our mobile subscription with the telco and going to get iPhone 5, a friend who was in the discussion and reluctant to do so, asked a strange question: "Would it get scratched if I put it in my pocket?"

We all know that we pay for screen protector to protect our PDA at exorbitant price of around S$30 before. At around S$12 for iPhone. We buy cases for cameras and other equipment and devices, just to prevent the devices from scratches.

Last week I left my camera with case in my backpack together with a wet t-shirt after tracking overnight. Only on the next day I found that the leather part of the case came off. If I had put the wet t-shirt or the camera with case in a plastic shopping bag, that would not have happen. So today, I brought with me a few plastic bag on my trekking trip.
