On our way to Kelong, 40 of us were without life jacket. None of us protested on that while on board. One person complained to me while we were at the kelong. On our returning journey, we were given brand new life jackets.
The problem is we are not trained to pay attention to our own safety while on holiday. Some people did not want to spoil the holiday mood so did not want to complain.
Why would 29 persons go on board a ferry which was supposed to carry only 12 passengers? Are the ferry operator the only one to be blamed? Shouldn't the last few passenger refuse to go on board a overloaded ferry?
